The Quiet Zone will run again during Holy Week 2013 - each day from Monday 25th March to Saturday 30th March (inclusive) from 10am – 3pm in one of the shopping units in Chorlton Precinct (the one previously used by Select Seconds).
The Quiet Zone provides a unique service to the community by offering an oasis of calm and reflection in the midst of the busy lives of people passing through Chorlton’s shopping precinct during the most holy week of the church’s year. There will be space to sit, have a rest, think about the meaning of the season, and look at the images, crafts, and books on display.
Volunteers from a number of Chorlton churches will staff the unit during its opening hours and ministers will be available for anyone who wishes to chat in more depth. So if you’re in Chorlton Precinct during Holy Week, please call in, say hello, and enjoy a few precious minutes of rest and reflection.
